Am I right that in 'normal operation' when you turn the ignition to run you should hear the pump run, then the relay shuts it off? I hear mine hum for about 2 seconds, then I hear the relay click and it goes off. I'm pretty sure this is how it's supposed to function, pressurizing and doing a self-check of the system, and then preventing the pump from burning out---right?

I'm now thinking that either the ABS ECU has gone haywire (maybe shorted out internally or something) or the pressure switch is now kaput. I'm also hopeful that it could be loose connections, or bad relays---the most cost-effective problem...

Will update in a few days when I fing the culprit.
