From the most to least expensive, here are but a few. There also will be personal opinions that may differ from each other, so take it any way you like...

Ohlins are stratospheric in cost, and likely as not, probably not available in the C900. Race cars use Ohlins, and are available as aftermarket for lots of performance cars from BMW M and Audi A cars, through Masserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. Extremely well engineered dampers, and you'll pay for that engineering. Many thousands per set.

Konis are in the realm of really expensive, really nice dampers. I have them on only one of the 4 cars. Very nice, compliant ride, yet stiff in the turns, just where you want them to be. But at ~$1200 for 4, still a bit much for most budgets.

Bilsteins are a bit stiff, but affordable. Nice compromise between cost and handling.

KYB's (often jokingly called "Keep Your Bilsteins"), they're extremely stiff at first, but within a couple months go soft in the ride. Very affordable, but you get what you pay for. Had them on my '88 900S.

Others? Monroe. Gabriel. Sears. Ummm.... Costco perhaps? KMart? (You see where I'm going here...) Basically I avoid all the discount shocks. Like brakes, suspension isn't something you should go "cheap" on.

Love my Konis, but inherited them when I purchased the car. Bilsteins are typically what I go for when the budget won't cooperate with my desire for something better and refusal for anything worse.

Hope that helps, see you in Chat...

Jim Miller
