jomo, If you have a clattering coming from under the valve cover then sticky lifters is the most likely thing. Keep in mind that the injectors actually (normally) make pretty obvious clicking on these guys and if your not certain then you may want to listen to some other C900s for reference. Use a stethoscope or long screwdriver to try to locate the noise. Your noise could be a slack timing chain or worn guide too. Lifters are often noisy at start-up and quiet down after a few minutes. Running some MMO in your oil won't hurt anything although you might want to go kind of light on the throttle until you change it out. Cheers.
