Valvoline Type FA or Chevron Type F, Choose ATF Fluid.

The car is my 1993 with an automatic transmission. I want to drain a few court of ATF fluid and top up, but I've got some uncertainty about the type of ATF fluid to use. (I'm not going to use synthetic)

On the transmission dipstick there is a plastic piece that says use Ford transmission fluid, and refers to specification M2C33-F. The auto supply chain store has two possibilities,

Vavolene Type FA, good thing about that brand is on the bottle says it meets and exceeds the M2C33F standard.

Chevron also brand called ATF Type F, for use in older Fords. http://www.chevron.com/products/prodserv/nafl/auto/content/atf.shtm#atff

My search on this forum made me think most people would choose the Chevron Type F. But the Valvoline brand is more specific about referring to the exact specification, M2C33F, and also states that it is approved for some Saabs.

Because I know the automatic transmission is a weakness, I'm exercising and excess of caution in selecting the right fluid. Anyone have any strong opinions on which fluid choice is better?
