Clutch trouble

I noticed the clutch on my 900s was starting to engage way too close to the floor. I figured there was probably a leak somewhere in the line. I drove the car for a while and then decided I'd go ahead and pressure bleed the system. It took a while before I got a good seal on the reservoir and the clutch got worse (no pressure at all) before I finally got decent pressure again. Now the clutch is even worse. When I select first and start to release the pedal the car stalls everytime. What's going on. I figured it would improve at least for a while. Could it be a faulty master cylinder? Would it fail completely that suddenly?
