Can not say for sure on the 93..but on my 85 the resistor "pack" can be gotten to by removing the drivers side dash speaker. Step outside the car and look down toward the air ducts below the radio location. My resistor "pack" plugs into the air duct (the air flow is used to provide cooling for the resistors). You may be able to see the wiring from the resistor pack up to the fan motor above. Disconnect the battery, pull off the electrical plug and "unsnap/pull out" the resistor pack out of the duct. On the resistor pack, you will only see the electrical connections, the resistor are actually in the air duct side. Not much in the factory manuals about its location...
