I did try that as well after screwing the piston in and it did not move any further. Another thing i noticed too is that the outer pad was worn about 2x as much as the inner. I did make sure the pbrake is functioning properly too. I then compared it too the rh side and found the dimension between the end of the piston and inner part of the caliper ( on the pbrake side) less than what i was able to get on the the left. I can now see why some owners are upgrading their calipers, is this something i should think of before ordering the same style caliper?
