Dont laugh. I just dont need the 5 speed with city driving and carting around my two children. Would like to know if anyone knows of a low miles auto transmission that I could swap for my mint 5 speed transmission here in Los Angeles. This transplant is for a 64k miles 1993 900S in great shape. Car needs very little for easy maintain.
If anyone has any advice about auto transmissions please let me know. My 900 is from the original owners. They had it in Boston for one year, 1994, as well as shi trips to tahoe and the mufflers are shot. Did pass last smog though. Car was used as a local commute of twelve miles or so during the week thus the relatively low miles. Will need mufflers, front shocks, headliner redo, three black rubber grommets for a headlamp, thermostat change, etc to make it a great car. Was wondering if a great auto trans would be a good deal. Will sell the 5-speed or trade. Thanks for all help in advance.
