You're looking for either the '88+ 9000T and '89+ 9000NA. They will bolt right up to the 900 using the original mounting bolts. You just need to trim back the dust shield as it obstructs the larger 9000 calipers. Get the whole caliper - piston housing, slider, all of it. If you order a rebuilt brake caliper from somewhere, it should be complete.
Rotors - you can use the original 900 rotors, and I think you can use 9000 rotors as well. The 9000 rotors are a little thicker, a little heavier. I stuck with the 900 units as I wasn't having a problem with warped rotors - I just wanted more clamping power and better pad choices (E30 M3 pads work with just minor modification), so I opted to save the weight.
When you bleed, you only need to bleed the brakes - the clutch will be unaffected. You'll need to check a manual out for the proper proceedure - I think it's LF, RF using a traditional pressure bleeder, then LR, RR using the ABS pump. Don't quote me on that, however... :)
