If this line is cracked close to the ring end (which is the round end of the line that the banjo bolt attaches to the filter) it possibly could be cut back (past the cracked part) and a new, or even a good used ring end could be installed back into the line. Replaceing the entire line sounds like alot of work, as it runs all the way through the passenger compartment to the engine. The times I have seen these lines crack (yes I have cracked them myself!) it usually is within an inch or so from the end. There is enough slack in the line to cut it back & re-insert the ring end. Which is alot less work and you won't have to buy a new line which probably isn't cheep either.
