Anyone ever gotten a car that u just absolutely knew was not taken care of? Well, i did. It is my 84 900T. Now usually when i get a new-to me car the first thing i do is change oil, plugs, wires, distrubiter, etc etc etc. Well, When i took it for a test drive i noticed the turbo was barely engaging. I popped the hood and heard a vacuum leak somewhere. I figured turbo problem solved. The price that he wanted was way too more than i had so we negotiated and i ended up getting black beauty, thats what i call her) for $450. I got it home, where it ran like crap, and parked her. Over the next 2 weeks i spent examining and changing vacuum lines and minor issues. I got the turbo worked out and were all good. Well, this past weekend i finally got around to pulling the plugs. I only had 3 words to say. Oh my god was one choice and What the hell was the other. The plugs had no gap to them. well, they had a gap, once i finally got the burned stuff off of them. It was on there so bad the wire brush couldnt even touch it. I had to get a flat head screwdriver and a hammer and pound where i hoped the gap was supposed to be. After getting most of it off i put them back in. The auto place doesnt carry NGK's in stock, they come in this weekend. I did some driving around and its like a whole new car. I did some checking around on this car and found out about the last 3 owners of her. I was not impressed. Shes actually been thru a high speed chace on I-70 at speeds over 130 mph. Im kinda proud of her now. Cant wait till i get the plugs and other basics so i can see how she really performs.
Thanks for reading

Josh
