oil seal, and innerbearing that sits inside the flange, put the shims back inplace but didnt see where a gasket would go between flange and gear box, so with the shims in place i bolted it in,

im just woundering if im going to have a oil leak coming from not haveing a gasket between gearbox and flange,

i saw the black rubber ring inside the flange but i left it alone, never replaced it.

is there more to it or just putting the shims back inplace and tighting it down is all it needs.
