removal of head. Of course, the broken stud was the back/inside number 1 cylinder. Removed manifold/turbo assembly. Disasembled turbo and put manifold back on head. Used 1)Dremel Tungsten Carbide Cutter #9903 and Dremel model 300 with right angle attachment. 2)Put a small (.400)drill collar on cutter and used the opening in the exhaust manifold to center the "drilled hole". Used a mirror, PB Blaster, Kroil, and compressed air often. Once I was satisfied with a good centralized starter hole I took off the manifold and slowly and patiently drilled through the broken piece. I was successful in reaming out the original hole and eventually an extractor took hold and unscrewed the piece.
