Those are awesome diagrams, but unfortunately not the right ones.
On the '86/'87 turbo the head unit has a single oddball connector at the head unit (and isn't removable) that terminates in two pretty dense circular DIN-sized cables, and the equalizer accepts these for signal input, and power output to the head unit. The equalizer additionally has a big fat Molex connector, which ultimately terminates in the Saab-standard dual 8-pin (one for power in, one for speakers out) connectors. It's that "conversion" that I need to know - the big Molex connector to the 8-pin connectors...
