What "rear seat bottom connector? I took the rear seat out, and can see the relay in the relay/fuse block, but I can't see (or identify) the connecter that goes to the mercury switch. I'd like to know how to identify/locate this connector so I can install a replacement switch -- if I can find one. The problem definitely is the switch, because if I take it out of its bracket and gently shake it, it begins to work again. However, if I snap it back in the bracket, it often stops functioning again. I've pulled on and wiggled the wires near the switch, and I don't think that's the problem. It must be a problem internal to the switch. I thought mercury switches lasted forever. Maybe 15 years is too much to expect.
