SAAB recommends replacing the SRS air bag every ten years so it's probably long over due. Whatever is causing the SRS light and the ABS lights to be on should be checked out right away by a good mechanic or dealer service. Any car that age will cost some money to make it dependable and safe. Sounds like it's a nice car, if the price is right it would probably be worth fixing the SRS and ABS systems. Don't have a clue what this might cost - maybe someone else who's been there can help.
