Have a pristine '92 with just under 40,000 miles (euk green, black roof, tan leather). I drive it maybe 2000-3000 miles a yea in the warm weather months and then store it over the winter months (Nov - Apr). I change the oil each year just before winter storage, and that's about it other than filling the tank, inflating the tires and unhooking the battery. This year I went to get her out of storage and discoverd a leak requiring a clutch and slave replacement. Started right up after connecting the battery save for the clutch petal which went straight to the floor.
Anything I should do from a general maintenance persective? It needs new brake pads soon, which I've been told, but what about other fluids, hoses, etc. The serpentine (?) belt was replaced two years ago. Hoses look fine...not brittle. I'm uncetain of the maintenance schedule for this model -- should I follow what the manual tells me or is there a better, more preventative way of maintaining? Eveytime I take it into and indy, they say things look fine -- fluids and otherwise. Just thougth I'd seek the sage opinion of this board. Not looking to spend more than I need to, but rather keep her in good, running shape and a bit of preventative maintenance to keep her that way.
Thanks in advance.
