Typical dealer. Do you have an independent Saab mechanic in your town? If so, call him and ask.
Also, the code may be written on the stereo itself -- mechanics sometimes do this so they can start the radio up after working on a customer's car.
If you have a radio with four small holes on its faceplate -- two on each side of the radio -- then you can quickly and easily pull the radio yourself and see: take two lengths of coat hanger wire, each about 8 inches long, and bend each one into a "U" shape such that the two ends are parallel and can be slid into a pair of the holes on each side of the radio. Next, you guessed it, slide each u-shaped hanger wire into the holes on each side -- push them in good.
Now you should be able to pull the radio out of its hole in the dash (the hangers disengage little catch pieces that hold the radio into the dash).
If this is too much, call an indy Saab shop. :-)
