Turn Sign Arm

Recenlty replaced the turn signal arm and am having some problems. Here is what happens when it is fully engaged:
1. The flasher does not work, thought the turn signal lights comes on prior to full engagement then goes out.
2. The Brake and Oil waring lights come on
3. The tach drops but the engine does not change
4. As bussing comes from behind or under the dash
I was careful to swap one wire at a time since I did not have a diagram. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
Jonathan
