Hey problem sorted!! Here's the rub. Slave was fully extended onto PP and the o-ring on the piston had caught on an edge at the bottom preventing its return. Bolted everything back up so it was all square and pryed with a Large bar SNAP The rest is history. Large nuts under pressure plate, tighten up bolts, spacer ring in (4mm outer cable) Undo bolts PP and slave body, all good. I had washed all the engine down whilst I had been working on the suspension previously, so I think that ingress of crud and corrosion was the initial cause.
Slave piston has a good ridge so me thinks its u/s anyway. So now searching for bits.
Thanks all
Darryl
