...Car handles well so far on streets. Took a brief spurt up to higher speed on the highway and the car felt OK. I am unsure what you mean by twitchy, but so far I think I am OK. Mild mini-vibrations in the steering at times, but I was on cracked and pot-hole filled roads. I will take a drive tonight on clean highways when the trafic is clear to get a better idea.
As far as mileage vvack, I was getting 19 city with 93 octane. Now I will see what I get with this new alignment. My alignment was poor prior to today, and that is what prmpted all of this. That means my intial mileage sucked. When I put the car away 3-4 years ago, alignment was one of the problems. The tires were new, but there was no sense aligning a car in storage. Now I have corrected the alignment in order to save the brand new tires. Increased mileage will be a plus. If the mileage stays the same or gets worse, I will assume it is an alignment issue and I will get back to you and Hans.
Best all, and thanks, especially to Hans. For anyone else curious, check out alignment info posted by Gorper (who has since changed his handle to Hans).
Best all, and thanks.
