I'm not trying to rag on Scan West at all, I know it's one of the most reputable Saab places in the nation! Like I said, there are two sides to every story.

My buddy who knows about this sold the car originally to my sister. Sure, the tranny fluid needed a little every 6 months but it wasn't an ailing Saab by any means or compared to what most people are used to when they drive old 900's. It was in good shape. But he was bummed out when he heard what had happened and then realized the woman that worked there was driving the same car at the end of the week. My sister was in nursing school at the time so the thought of dropping $3,000 on a car that cost her $1500 was unfathomable. And she hasn't even looked back since she got rid of the car so there's no harm done. Could she have driven it another 30K without repairs? Who knows...

What made this car special was the dash was in KM or something. I think it was a CDN import, hatchback 900S, but I'm not sure. Check it out next time you are there, it's light blue. Although all of this happened 2 years ago or so.
