Ah, you meen the optional moonroof. That was a dealer-installed option; my parents' '85 had one. The manual sunroof (standard on the S and turbo) is a sliding metal setup with drains. Your moonroof is sealed by a rubber gasket. Try putting some clear silicone gasket compound on the rubber surfaces. Also be sure the mounting pins (two in the front, two in the back) are not worn and that the glass still seats well. If that doesn't work, I'd take the car to an auto aftermarket accessory shop, and before they put twenty-inch super chrome wheels with the little spinners on them on your car, get their opinion and maybe a rough estimate on what a new gasket would cost.
If you ever scrap the car, I'll buy the glass off of you. I've only seen one other in the junkyards.
Ah, you're in luck. I just checked in the basement. I have the original instructions (from June, 1985) mainly with installation directions, but they also have some cross-sections in the back. If you want these, e-mail me by clicking on my username above this post.
