I drive a LOT...I'm only up to 293K on my 85 900T which I've had for 14 years now myself...it had 129K when I bought it. Not saying he really didn't do it, but just from a human perspective, HE must be rusted to that drivers seat. And unless you are really under that car on a very regular basis with waxoyl or some such rust treatment, I cannot see a rust belt car, (Wisconsin), not rusting out in 2-300K. If you are in the Northeast like me, we all know the places they rust seriously...rear shock towers, panhard rod attachment, rear axle upper link brackets, door bottoms, lower front A-Arm support structure, front and rear wheel arches...etc. I find it really hard to believe he hasn't had to replace his drivers seat bottom about 6 times...he's a big guy! So....I'm a little skeptical without seeing the car. It MUST have been welded...or it's been really dangerous to drive now for about 600K???!!!!
