85 900T; Bought in 1993 with 129K...now has 293K
One question that's relevant...some folks do all there own work,(like me), others use a trusted repair shop...so 2 different calculations.

Fo me; I've kept great records...ave cost including repaint and some recent welding for the rear shock mounts...spent approx $12000.00 on the car over 14 years...about $71.00 per month. Some of the work was optional...the repaint was due to the car just looking old and I decided 5 years ago to have a customer of mine do a $4000 job on the car. it's 5 yaesr later and it looks like glass. The welding was inevitable...but factor out the paint and I'm at under $50.00/mth.

BUT...the car pays me back...it 'allows' me to have other cars which I can keep the miles down on...plus it's STILL the most enjoyable car I have.
