Hall sensor or ICM/IA failure: how common?

I've only dealt with approximately a dozen c900s, a few owned and others of friends (and other Bosch igntion cars): none have had a distributor or CPS hall sensor failure (maybe latter a bit more prevalent due to its location??), or the distributor itself wear out, or an ignition control module aka ignition amplifier failure. Most were in the +150K miles range. 1 or 2 had a wiring/connection problem, but the components were fine
How often do these failures occur and is there a (varying!) typical mileage?
Also would like to hear from those with +200K miles and no problems
