Turbo really doesn't care...it does whatever the apc let's it do. Although 12psi boost at 30F 20% relative humidity is somewhat more mass flow than at 85F 60% humidity!!!
The limit is detonation...you can get red boost even at 100F 80% humidity but the system has to meter the fuel appropriately...too much fuel is generally better than too little...too little and knock sets in and apc reduces boost. Too much fuel and you get black smoke but at least you're not knock limited. The hot wire air mass meter measures cfm and meters fuel based on the current/voltage it takes to maintain hot wire....theoretically it should be able to compensate for hot air and high humidity but in practice the boost gets turned down unless you do something more than Saab did...like a RRFPR, a bigger intercooler, more efficient turbo mapped to higher pressure ratios than stock, and perhaps one of those 12v 80CFM computer cooling fans cable tied to the stock intercooler.
