Fuel injector wiring...Interesting

I just got my car back form the shop for a new transmission, and I noticed something odd while poking around under the hood. The wires for the injectors come stock with little labels; cyl 1, cyl 2, and so on. Presumably, this labeling should correspond to the labels stamped on the head; 1,2,3,4, right? Well, it looks like the injector connector labeled 1, is actually on cylinder 3, and vice versa. Would this mix up still allow the car to run fairly normally, as mine is, or shoudl I fix this problem? Thanks.
