Members see ZERO ads on the bulletin boards and get more feature. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup

I'm thinking if I want to lower my springs, rather than spend $250 on new parts, why not just saw off a coil or two from the factory springs?

Would that cause any "badness" with the car? I am no spring engineer, but I'm no spring chicken either - I can't think of a reason it wouldn't just work...

Any thoughts?
