look for the Bosch stuff like AMM's, AIC valves, injectors, starters. these parts are very very expensive new, and cars arent usually junked because of a bad AMM so chances are the part is good. AMMS and AIC s are easy to install and test, then return if they are shot.
i grab any shifter housings, especially the ones with keys in them! i like to make my own short shifters so i cut up the housing to make the spacer, and adapt the shift rod. its a bit of work getting them out but you might find 2-10 bucks in change down there! maybe even a thin watch...

rear wheel bearings hubs are easy to spin and listen for noisy bearings - if they seem tight, take em off! 32 mm deep socket and a breaker bar ...
electric rear view mirrors... easy to take off. Headlights too,especially e codes.
