i thought about doing that, but before i did i thought if the hose is ate this bad and if by compressing the metal to hold the hose, if by chance the vibrating rub was not taken care of and, the hose continued to rub
as in a motor shake at low rpms take offs, or high at speed hitting a massively messed up road, anything that would make the hose wiggle or jiggle, it wouldnt be to long before it would eat through the rest of my dilapidated high pressure hose.
seeing i would guess my hose now sits with about two pennies width thick high pressure rubber left in the area of the metal rap ends.
at the time i thought, do i want to chance blowing the hose,
as with the fix i did with the tape, it will not hold long im sure
and the next time i try to get a little ac. whoops.. nothing
in my present position what Rudolph suggested is the most brilliant advice i could have received, my thanks.
and i will take your advice and compress the heater hose rap, tight within the metal.
thanks again all
