They helped keep my spg cool in the summer (no ac, driver's side window inop).

But I removed them in the winter because it's impossible to scrape the window and snow built up inside of them.

One of the lower fasteners was broken, so it kind of rattled over bumps.

I could never decide if I liked my spg better with or without them.

I had the original sale receipt for the car (an '89) and it said, "Customer wants rear louver installed - not recommended by Saab." I think since it was the late 80's they were trying to get away from that look.
