Hi,
I've been offered an early convertible. I haven't seen the car and the guy who offered it (a Chevy dealer, which, here in Europe is is quite similar to a Daewoo one...) doesn't know a damn about the car except that "it has the strange looking old bumpers and front than your 1984 900i!" and that it's "in a lot better shape rustwise than the 1985 2dr that I gave you a few days ago!"

I'll be looking at the car soon and I must say I'm really not into convertibles, but I was wondering if being an early model made it any bit more interesting/rare/valuable than other convertibles on our european market.

Also, what should I be looking at when inspecting and would anyone be interested by it, as I'm certainly not going to keep it for myself?
