What the hell is wrong with my saab??

This has been a very frustrating little while, which started with the car blowing a heater hose and running dry on coolant. As soon as I picked the car up from having the hose replaced, I noticed an erratic and high idle which started as a seemingly minor problem, but soon got to the point where the car would rev up to 3000 on start up and then down to stall. It would sometimes drive fine for a while, and then would proceed to stall everytime I disengaged the clutch to come to a red light (as the rpms dropped). I replaced the coolant temperature sensor, and some vacuum lines, but I'm totally stumped! What is wrong with my vehicle? Any advice would be appreciated!
