How was the P.S. before you hit the brick? If it was fine and not leaking then it's likely that the impact did knock something loose. I've found that one of the weakest points in the P.S. system on these old classic 900s is the return hose where it makes the U bend and connects to the pump. The old hose gets really spongy and swollen where it goes on the nipple and the U bend becomes brittle and cracks badly. The sponginess prevents sealing on the nipple no matter how tight you make the clamp and as the brittle U bend cracks it leaks and can actually shear and dump all of the P.S. fluid at once. The impact probably caused that hose to shear. Of course any one of the 3 hoses could be leaking if the impact effected it. They all get a little weak with time. The impact you describe probably wouldn't have reached the pump or reservoir and let's hope that the rack wasn't damaged. They are no fun to replace. You'd probably know if that was the case. Pumps can leak massively when their seals wear out but like I said, it's unlikely with this incident. So take a good look at your hoses. The 2 pressure hoses (high and low) are available in most auto parts stores (they fit some common domestic cars) but for the U bend return hose you'll probably have to get that from a site sponsor.
