On a side note, if by some random circumstance you do mangle the threads on the pin or screw that hold the rotor on - don't sweat it. That hardware is there only for your convenience, and if you end up having to run without it you won't hurt anything... the wheel is more than adequate for holding the rotor in place. :)
As for the boot, I second Zaab's opinion - just replace the whole axle. It's so much faster and less frustrating, and having it on hand precludes the possibility of taking everything apart and finding your joint is damaged and needs replacing, thus leaving the car on jackstands for several days. You don't want to take this stuff apart any more than you have to. :) Somewhat related, Kragen - remarkably - has entire axles for '90+ 900s (cars with ABS) for $72 each. Or, at least they do locally!
