Also, even if you put a car away, learn to make a weekly trip up and down the driveway, rather than just starting it.

There are some charging systmes that can trickly charge through the cigarrette lighter. You must leave the key in the ON position as without the key the cigarette lighter is turned off automatically.

It is hard to say what the oil is, as it could be from the rack and pinion, or the engine, or the tranny. If there were rodents living in the area, they might have bitten through some lines and wiring. No one knows why they do these things, but sometimes they just do.
