\switch for me to out it all back together. I tried to replace my chewed up ignition cylinder\key when I realized it was the bottom gear in the assembly that ruined it. So I took the assembly all apart and ordered the gear set along with a new ignition switch while I was at it. Anyway I dont know how to assemble it all correctly. I actually had tried before I took the assembly\gears apart and the new ignition cylinder\key wouldnt turn and nothing was right. Right now the shifter rod itself\tranny is in Reverse. I dont know which way the big locking gear is supposed to be installed when the key is in lock?. 11oclock or 3oclock? what gear is the shifter and tranny supposed to be in? any special position for the lock cylineder? ignition switch?. i noticed the shift rod(long rod to tranny) had a lot of wear and erosian of metal on it in one spot? sorry so many questions but i dont know how to do it. im affriad im gonna put it all back together again and not be able to turn the key.
