I have had no luck rebuilding the clutch master cylinder. To do it right you need to have a hone that will fit down into the main body so that any minor rust pits can be honed off evenly and smoothly.
One way to see if your clutch master is leaking is to look from inside the car at the place where the plunger enters the cylinder (you have to remove the little rubber boot to see in there). If it is wet with fluid in there you got a leak, if dry you don't.
