and on another note: from experience... learning the hard way, I would not take NAPA's brand stamp as high quality. I ordered 2 of their remanned axles based on the counterperson's statement: "they are OEM quality or better". These things came too short... didn't fit. I decided to take 'em apart. Long story short: the outer CVs were "remanned"... ground down w/new larger ball bearings. Inner and middle part were also machined. Casing the same, well below "hard surface" finish. There were chips and uneveness throughout.
These things may work for a few k miles, but they are essentially junk. To sell 'em as "OEM or better" quality is not so hot AFAIC.
Same w/rebuilt '86 calipers: I had to send 'em bak... yokes were worn and not built up at all: eg. guaranteed reverse clunk.
I still go to NAPA for some things (oil & filters, tools etc.) but no longer accept their quality assertions on critical parts... they just can't be believed.
