suspension issues. last week i was on the highway in an area where they have stripped off the first couple layers of pavement to redo. for the bridges that pass over perpendicular highways, they have created ramps up to the bridge level and back down to the stripped road level. at somewhat slow highway speeds this is more of a big bump than anything.

last week i was on this highway and went over 2 or 3 of these in a row. afterwards i noted a couple issues:
1. my rear suspension now seems a little softer. on turning or even changing lanes, the rear end seems to want to sway out more than normal and isn't as sharp in response. also seems like the car is a little heavier in the back (dragging, sluggish, etc).
2. this morning on the way in to work, i went over a few bumps and dips and the electrical system reset. no noticable complete loss of power, just a flutter of the tach, reset of the radar detector (plugged in to cigarete lighter) and radio.

i assume the heavy bumps did something to the suspension and shook something lose electrically. last weekend i went under the car to check the rear suspension (shocks, sway bar, springs) and everything looked ok on quick glance. i also tightened up the clamps on the sway bar to the axle but it did not seem to do much. i also noticed that if i push on the car just behind the rear wheel the back end will sway back and forth a little. not a huge amount, but noticable.

i should note the car is a 90 900 with jamex springs, bilstein HD shocks, and the SAS rear sway bar.

i am planning to run through the car this weekend, but am looking for suggestions on best places to check 1st.

thanks for any responses!
