The key here for structural integrity (and yes, the floor pan is structural in the engineering sense) is to use at least one step heavier guage metal than factory, fit it well in place, and ensure an adequate area of adhesive coverage. Years ago I specified an epoxy that had a shear strength in the 5000 to 8000 psi range. This compares to a tensile strength for mild steel of 20,000 psi. So long as the surface are of the bond is 3 to 5 times greater than the cross sectional area of the steel, then the steel will fail before the bond does. Ideally the floor pan doesn't deform much in a crash, and the repair shouldn't change the behavior, IMO.
The prohibition on structural repairs on the label, IMO, is intended to stop people from using it to scab a plate over a rusted truck frame and call it fixed, or to ditto to a unibody frame member which is part of the collapsing zone of the safety structure. While the epoxy joint strength is considerable, how well it resists fatigue and how well it behaves in a crash when metal is deforming all around it is another story.
