I have never done a 4 door, but I was looking at mine and it doesnt look like the shell will come out through the trunk. I read somehwere that if you remove the front passenger seat it can come out the front door? either way, if you have a sunroof I would STRONGLY recommend pulling the rear window. Those shells are REALLY fragile and the first time I tried this the darn thing broke, and that was from a 1980 GLE 5 door. I could not find a shell that would fit properly to replace it!
