Here is the follow up.

I packaged a bunch of Sold Classifieds from this site and submitted them as a rebuttal to the insurance company's offer of $2300 for my recently totaled pristine-condition '93 900T Commemorative Ed. They used 2 local 900S models as their comps.

Well they finally came back with a figure of about $6650. This was only possible because a few nice restored SPG's sold for $12 and $14000 which they considered the top end of the range. I only submitted sold classifieds of SPG's and the few Comm Ed's that are on there, and only those above $4k.

So, long story short, I got $150 more than I paid for the car 4 years ago...

Sadly, I won't find another Saab in that kind of condition. I am now beginning to transplant the parts into the nice Scarab Green '92 Turbo shell I have sitting in the weeds... It will have nice black doors and hatchback soon...

Even though this seems like a small victory (the claims guy said they've never done that before), it is sad how little these cars are worth on the market now. I'm going to re-evaluate how much insurance coverage I keep on them.
