Hey Pete, I'm buying x2 rblt AMM's (for my 85' & 87') direct from Injection Labs (the one I got from eEuro was crap) but I only have x1 core I'm willing to part with...so I've been putting off the retest until I find another core.
I've checked for vac leaks very carefully & eliminated all I found.

Here is a refresher; The car is an 87' 900t w/roughly 95k, I found it in a salvage yard back in Janurary (emissions issues?) & after a lot of tinkering it runs great & got over 500 miles on the each of the two tanks of gas I've put through it so far...at least 30mpg. I failed the 1st test in March or April 07' w/double the allowed HC & Nox (Co barely registered). The car had recent plugs (not NGK), cap, rotor, wires & AF...the O2 sensor was brand new - but there WERE at least x2 undiscovered vac leaks as of that test. I corrected ONE of the vac leaks (missed the other), installed a brand new catalytic converter & failed the retest w/practically IDENTICAL #'s! Both tests were with the AMM from my 85' 900t...which I guess is bad. I plan to dispute the retest based on the fact that the tech missed 3rd gear on the dyno & used 5th instead.
So here is where I am now - I have a vac leak in the dash somewhere...I disconnected & plugged the vac resivour until I have time to investigate. I also have a leak at the charcoal canister (the leak I missed for the retest)...the check valve diaphragm is blown. I just got a replacement charcoal canister w/a good check valve from that 86' 900s I found, but the car had 180k on it...& could have a lot more if the odo is broken. Should I be concerned about using a charcoal canister that has (at least)double the mileage my car has?
I haven't yet checked my injectors for proper spray pattern, but I've run a tank w/Lucas FI cleaner & another w/a 20oz btl. of Techron...so I don't expect to find a problem.
As soon as I have a properly rebuilt AMM, I'll put in new NGK 7's & try again...but I'm still open to any sugestions.
Sorry for the novel.
