Today I changed the oil in my 1987 900t at 190,000 miles. I forgot to find the washer that had fallen off the drain plug and put the plug back on, refilled with Mobil 1 10W-30 (which is all I ever use) then realized my mistake when pouring the old oil into a can. I found the washer so I had to take the plug back off, let the new oil drain back out into the cleaned pan, put the plug back on this time with the washer, and added the new oil back. I saw at the bottom of the pan some crunchy black chunks - very small irregular shaped about 1/8 inch in diameter. You could smash them fairly easily with a fingernail. What are they???
