I have a 91 900T and recently have been having the following problem: Whenever the boost gauge gets to half way in the yellow, the engine will shudder and loose power for a sec, then regain power, then loose power, cutting in and out. Nothing else seems to make this happen- flooring up to that halfway mark, high RPMs (3-5k), etc etc. Reading through the forum, I've seen that this could be a bad fuel pump/filter, ignition coil that's starting to go, vacuum lines/fittings, or a slipping clutch. I'm pretty sure it's not a bad clutch- replaced that last fall.

On another note, with the heat it's been idling erratically (going up to ~1.8k, sometimes steady, sometimes jumping around) on startup. However, this doesn't always happen whereas this problem with getting boost has steadily been getting worse and now seems to have topped out at that half-way yellow mark.

Any ideas? I think it's leaky vacuum lines/fittings (or maybe something with the APC?... solenoid?)
