If you run the 205/45/16's on the aero wheels you should be fine. No significant rub. I say significant b/c on my 90 SPG I get a slight slight bit if you have 5 people in the car and you go the mall and hit the speedbumps. We never take my car on those trips anyway so it's not a problem. Note: not severe. I got lots of rub w/ 205/50/16's. 45s solved problem.
It's not as much that they rub because the total circumference is bigger, it's more that the wheels stick out a little more because the offset is different & the wheels are 6.5 wide instead of 5.5 wide like the stocker SPG rims. Thus, the tires rub the lips of the fender trim on the rear.
If you lower the car more than the stock SPG / sport ride height, you may need to do the axle relocation trick.
And ps - my car on stock spg suspension with 205/45's on aero wheels looks great. It's subjective of course but tires don't look too skinny, no big dumb gaps in wheelwells, etc.. I keep reading that folks think the 205/45/16s look silly, I don't tend to agree.
