The power adjustment is a motor turning a flexible shaft connected to the hinge mechanism. If you pull the seat out you could use a hand drill/driver to operate the flexible shaft and adjust the seatback.
I'm guessing if you moved each side a little at a time it would work, but since you have to pull the seat anyway, why not just fix it? It's an easy DIY (yes, the stupid little plastic tubes are expensive, but the tubing/hose clamp fix could hold for a while).
