So my turbo went out two weeks ago and I just got the car running with a stock turbo (no play in shaft, looks good). Upon starting the car I'd expect a bit of residual smoke/oil, but not the smoke screen I got when I drove it for the first time. I removed my big front mount ic to find nearly a quart of oil in the ic and the associated pipework. I cleaned this all out and am still getting some smoke, from the bit of oil pooled up in the intake manifold, but does anyone know how long this will take to burn off? I assume the quart I took out of the ic will reduce the burn off time, but I can't imagine the pool in the manifold will dissappear very quickly? Anyone have any idea?
